Toby Ebbs

Works as a conservation officer and also university lecturer. He has been a casework officer for a number of local authorities in the East Midlands, such as Melton Borough Council and Newark and Sherwood District Council. Toby is also the undergraduate and postgraduate programme a for heritage and conservation at Nottingham Trent University

Chris Matthews

A heritage consultant and graphic designer based in Nottingham. He currently works as a Conservation Officer for Nottingham City Council and is partner in the History Studio with Toby Ebbs. He has published various books and articles on urban history and has taught at the universities of Nottingham and Lincoln.

Alice Cowl
Alice Cowl is a heritage consultant who has worked with The History Studio delivering on Local Listing, Heritage Action Zones and Assistant Conservation Officer Roles for Local Authorities. She has also worked on Historic Building Recordings and Heritage Impact Assessments for the preparation of planning applications involving listed buildings. Alice is currently devoting her spare time to learning the arts of stained glass window making.

 

Alice previously worked for Gleeds as a Graduate Building Surveyor and worked on historic buildings, preparing condition surveys and submitting planning applications on behalf of clients.
